Dragonfly Summer

Another beautiful line of fabrics arrived from Moda a Holly Taylor design, colors in greens, purples, creams, and beige. Charm packs and jelly rolls are also available. Pattern by Mountain Creations called Diamond Parade done up in this group of fabrics would be great for a beautiful quilt. Patterns go from baby to king size.

Spring Florals

With the beautiful weather we have been having lately comes the arrival of some very springy fabric! The decrative floral prints by Moda and Timeless Treasures are sure to brighten any room and are so festive you will think you stepped into a fresh spring garden. Moda's line is appropriately called "Fresh Flowers" and includes an array of yellow, orange, and red flowers with many beautiful blue and green accents to accompany the collection. This is a very fun line and would be perfect for a spring throw.

Timeless Treasure has a very classy line that they produced with 6x6 square panels of poppys, tulips, pansies, sunflowers, and butterflies. The squares are also adorned with inspirational bible verses, and a black border background. The collection also includes coordinating poppy, butterfly, and tulip fabric. This novelty line is sure to go fast and will be perfect for spring wedding quilts or just a really inspirational wall hanging.

 

Maxine by Hallmark Fabric

Yes you all know her as the crabby old lady full of  witty remarks on Hallmark Cards but Maxine is now in fabric print ..... Kaufman Fabrics has picked up Maxine in their novelty line of fabric, and it is everything we have come to expect from the goofy old gal. The picture below is a sampling of the collection that we have at Quilts Around the Corner. This fabric makes great totes, pillow cases and funny wall hangings to give away to friends (or keep for yourself!)

Star of the North 2011 Shop Hop

Ladies, please don't forget about the Star of the North 2011 SHOP HOP. This event will be taking place Feb. 23, 24, 25, and 26th.
Store Hours for this event will be Wed, Thurs, and Friday from 9:00-6:00 and Saturday from 8:00-8:00
For those of you who are interested in taking the tour of the shops on a bus, there are still a few slots open! Cost is $35.00 and includes transportation and dinner. The bus will LEAVE from the shop at 8:00 am and return around 8:00 pm. This day promises to be a ton of fun with lots of good deals on new Spring fabrics!
